When you receive your ballot in the mail, you can cast your vote in the following ways:

If you are unsure or unregistered, you can go to any accessible voting location during voting time from October 31st - November 3rd to register and vote conditionally. You can also go to the Registrar of Voters office located at 1220 Fallon Street, Oakland. Present the last 4-digits of your Social Security number or Driver's License number when you arrive.

Register to vote:
- Register to vote online or mail-in a voter registration form by October 19th to receive a ballot by mail.
- Check registration status online
Cast Your Vote:
When you receive your ballot in the mail, you can cast your vote in the following ways:
- Vote by mail: Simply place your ballot in the envelope, no postage needed, and mail it postmarked by November 3rd.
- Secure ballot dropbox: Drop your ballot in a secure ballot dropbox. Find a location of the nearest dropbox here.
- Ballot Drop Stop: Check here, or call (510) 272-6973, for times you can safely drop off your ballot in your neighborhood.
- Vote in-person: You can vote in-person at any accessible voting location: Saturday, October 31st (9am-5pm); Sunday, November 1st (9am-5pm); Monday, November 2nd (9am-5pm); Tuesday, November 3rd (7am-8pm) OR at the Registrar of Voters office located at 1220 Fallon Street, Oakland; Monday - Friday (9am-5pm) until Tuesday, November 3rd.
