COVID-19 Vaccine for People Experiencing Homelessness
Alameda County Health Care for the Homeless (ACHCH) is actively providing COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters at shelters, homeless centers, and street/encampment sites. We are committed to offering vaccine education and choice, including offering both Moderna or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines at our clinics. ACHCH does not require an ID to get vaccinated.
As more of us become fully vaccinated and receive booster vaccines, we strengthen our ability, as a community, to respond to COVID-19, turn the curve, and end this pandemic.
For more information on where to get a vaccine, please email ACHCH at covidachch@acgov.org or call (510) 891-8950. You can also visit one of the following resources:
COVID-19 Vaccination Information
The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and do not give you COVID-19, or affect your DNA. The after-effects, such as pain and soreness in the arm where you got the shot, headache, achy body, tiredness, fever, or chills, are normal signs that your body is building protection against the virus.
